$850 Solitaire Engagement Ring
Class fee for workshop to make a standard four or six-prong solitaire engagement ring in gold, platinum, or palladium. Most engagement rings are completed in 8 hours of studio time, including stone setting. Workshop fee includes assistance with purchasing stones. Precious metal is additional, and depends on the weight of your ring.

$1000 Custom Engagement Ring Workshop
Class fee for full-day workshop, up to 9 hours, to make a custom-designed engagement ring. Most custom rings are completed in 10 - 16 hours of studio time, often requiring a second day at my hourly rate. Workshop fee includes assistance with design and ordering stones. Precious metal is additional and depends on the weight of your ring.

$1275 - Cast Engagement Rings
The casting process requires more time and must be done over the course of several days. Most of my clients' designs do not require casting. The process of casting allows for crazy designs and more detail.

$80 - Per hour
More complicated rings will take more time. I can tell you in advance whether your design will take more than a day. I charge an hourly rate of $80 for additional studio time. You do not have to buy an entire day if your workshop extends beyond the first full day.

$$ - Materials
The cost of materials varies widely with design and market fluxuations. Gold for engagement rings usually runs $200 - $500. Platinum usually runs $350 - $800.
